ZuPreem Honored with SuperZoo 2009 New Product Award

ZuPreem^® Takes Home Award in Best New Bird Product Category at the National Show for Pet Retailers 

MONROVIA, Calif. (Sept. 22, 2009) - SuperZoo 2009, the national show for pet retailers, announces that ZuPreem won 3^rd place in the bird category during the show's third annual New Product Awards. ZuPreem was recognized for exemplary innovation with FruitBlend^TM Flavor Bird Food.

SuperZoo 2009 was held in September at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. SuperZoo's New Product Awards program was one of several new initiatives launched at SuperZoo two years ago to strengthen relationships between exhibiting manufacturers and retailers. Attending buyers voted on their favorite items from the SuperZoo New Product Showcase during the first day of the show.  First through third place awards were given to exhibitors in seven categories: Aquatic, Bird, Cat, Dog, Reptile, Small Animal and Miscellaneous.

"Despite the current state of the economy, SuperZoo 2009 was a true success and attracted over 608 exhibitors displaying their latest and greatest new products. Thanks to the New Product Awards, many companies got outstanding recognition for the products they debuted at SuperZoo," said Doug Poindexter, president of WPA.
