ZuPreem® Launches New Avian Diets

March 14, 2011 Shawnee, KS. – ZuPreem, the No. 1 Selling Pelleted Bird Food Brand in the U.S. announces the addition of two new products in the avian food category. VeggieBlend™ Flavor and NutBlend™ Flavor are complementary products to the popular FruitBlend™ Flavor Bird Food. VeggieBlend and NutBlend Flavor will start shipping from ZuPreem in early July and are expected to be on retail shelves in August.  The products will be introduced at Global Pet Expo in Orlando, FL on March 16.

“Bird owners like to feed their birds a variety of food, including fruit, vegetables and nuts. These new products simulate these foods and provide the balanced nutrition birds need every day,” said Gail Shepard, Director of Marketing for ZuPreem.  “We talked to numerous bird owners all over the U.S. to determine their opinions about this new food and it has been very popularly received,” Shepard continued.

VeggieBlend and NutBlend Flavor are designed for medium to large size foot-feeding birds. Each includes a variety of sizes and shapes to stimulate the interest for companion birds. These foods are complementary to FruitBlend Flavor so pet owners can choose to feed a different version each day to add variety to their bird’s diet while still maintaining premium nutrition.

VeggieBlend and NutBlend Flavor will be available in a 3.25 lb. retail size unit as well as a 17.5 lb bag handy for multiple bird households.
