Catalina Macaw and his Flying Companion, a Harlequin Macaw

Dear ZuPreem,
Thought you might enjoy seeing photos of a couple of our favorite birds. Making a landing at the front gate, our 3-year-old Catalina macaw and his flying companion, a Harlequin macaw, greet all of our guests.

Walking our Rottweilers is part of the daily routine at Mirror Lake Exotics and these two macaws never miss the trek, landing on my shoulders for a little contact time and a free ride.

While beautiful to look at, they can be very destructive. They've learned to come in the house through the dog door! The telephone seems to be the first point of interest in an unattended room. We've had to replace the phone several times.
